1500+ Underprivileged Children Helped 

Edmonton - The Can Man Dan Foundation is pleased to announce that more than 1,500 underprivileged children were helped through the efforts of Can Man Dan and his community partners at the 13th annual We're Here For Ya Day back-to-school event. Community partners from across Edmonton, such as, Edmonton's Food Bank, No Bull RV, Shadified Salon & Spa, Belmont Sobeys, Room XI, and the Family Friendly Edmonton group, all came together to help underprivileged children return to school with access to various items and services. 

This year, parents and students in need were able to access backpacks filled with various supplies, food hampers, high-quality haircuts, fresh bread, and more! For thirteen years, Can Man Dan and leaders from the community have run this event in hopes of ensuring that no child is left behind or without confidence. As it has been from its inception, the 13th annual We're Here For Ya Day was free-of-charge for families looking for extra help. Can Man Dan already has plans for next year's event, including breaking a Guinness World Record and a potential wrestling showdown, along with helping more families than ever before.
